Vera – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Vera app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vera. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The App is intended for use in jurisdictions where it is legally permitted.

3. Description of Service

Vera is a women's health companion app that provides:

• Menstrual cycle tracking and phase-based wellness guidance
• Daily wellness logging (mood, energy, sleep, symptoms)
• AI-powered personal health insights using your logged data and optional HealthKit data
• Integration with Apple HealthKit (read-only, with your permission)
• Subscription-based premium features

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Plans

• Weekly plan: $2.99/week with a 3-day free trial
• Annual plan: $59.99/year

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5.3 Free Trial

The 3-day free trial is available to new subscribers only. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand.

5.4 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance of any price changes, and your continued use of the subscription constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. HealthKit Integration

Vera integrates with Apple HealthKit to read health metrics from your device. By granting HealthKit permissions, you authorize Vera to read health data for the purpose of generating personalized insights. HealthKit data is never stored on our servers. You may revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health.

7. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per user; accounts are non-transferable

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its backend systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or malicious content
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and intellectual property in the App are owned by iColeect Apps or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

10. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated health insights provided by Vera are produced by artificial intelligence models (Google Gemini) and are for informational purposes only. They may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. You should not rely solely on AI insights for health decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iColeect Apps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or personal injury, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Profile screen.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.

15. Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and iColeect Apps, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to the App Store's rules.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
